Close-Up Gallery · 2020
In January 2020, I presented 21 solo performances over seven days in the Magic Castle's Close-Up Gallery in Hollywood.
The piece combined close-up magic and card magic with a story shaped by childhood memories and the landscape of the Atacama Desert. Proximity to the audience was central to the experience, in a room created specifically for small-scale illusionism.
The season marked a milestone in my international career and brought a work developed in Atacama to one of the world's most recognised specialist venues for magic.

Teatro Municipal de Las Condes · 2026
In 2026 I took part as a guest artist in Festival Internacional de Magia Pata de Cabra, held at Teatro Municipal de Las Condes and directed by Jean Paul Olhaberry.
I performed in the galas alongside Tina Lenert and Mike Caveney from the United States, Ricardo Rodríguez from Spain, Sebastián Semba from Argentina and Arturo Fuenzalida from Chile. The programme brought together different approaches to contemporary illusionism, from manipulation and visual magic to mentalism, comedy and physical theatre.
Alongside the performances, I joined Arturo Fuenzalida for the conversation La creatividad como lenguaje escénico, part of the festival's programme of exchange and encounter.

Southern Chile · 2024
In 2024 I took part as a guest artist in Trenes Culturales, a touring project developed by theatre company La Patogallina.
The experience integrated illusionism interventions into a cultural touring programme that travelled through cities in southern Chile, sharing the programme with artists and teams from the performing arts.
It was a collaboration that placed magic in a collective format beyond its usual presentation spaces, connecting it with an experience of travel, encounter and cultural access.

In 2026 I returned to Bolivia at the invitation of catalytic-A, with coordination by ProChile Bolivia, to take part in InnovaImpacto, an event connected with innovation, entrepreneurship and social action.
My participation combined several formats: talks, a Bootlab, service as a jury member for social innovation projects, and illusionism performances for grassroots recyclers connected with InnovaPlast.
The experience placed illusionism in a setting beyond the traditional stage, connecting it with learning, innovation and encounters with communities.

Onaciu Magic · Santiago · 2023
In 2023 I shared the stage with Jean Paul Olhaberry in The Magic Underground, a joint performance held at Onaciu Magic in Santiago.
The presentation brought together two approaches to contemporary illusionism in an intimate format, alternating individual acts and shared moments within a venue dedicated specifically to magic.
The encounter allowed languages, styles and experiences developed over years of artistic collaboration to meet in a performance conceived specifically for that setting.

I support artistic and cultural processes through stages of creation, staging, narrative, professional development and management. The work changes with each project: it may focus on a specific work, the construction of a stage experience, or strategic decisions that can give a career continuity and direction.
Five processes, different ways of working together.

Creative consultant and scriptwriter
Invited by Jean Paul Olhaberry, I took part as creative consultant and scriptwriter in developing the opening sequence for the closing night of the 2024 Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
The work focused on shaping the concept and narrative, and on integrating illusionism effects into a production conceived for television and for one of Chile's most high-profile stages.

Artistic consulting · Jean Paul Olhaberry
Artistic consulting for Ilusión, a show by Jean Paul Olhaberry, as part of a creative collaboration spanning more than a decade.
The process focused on observing and discussing the show from outside the stage: its structure, the language of illusionism, the construction of moments, and the relationship between effect, story and audience experience. A creative counterpoint designed to strengthen the decisions sustaining the stage work.

Artistic consulting and creative development · Jean Paul Olhaberry
A stage production developed by a multidisciplinary creative team led by Argentine director Pichón Baldinú, founder of De La Guarda.
The project brought together professionals from theatre, film, music, design and the visual arts, including Daniel Castro, writer for 31 Minutos, and Los Jaivas member Eduardo Parra in music production.
I took part as illusionism consultant, working on the development and resolution of the magical effects and their integration with staging, visual language, music and dramaturgy.

Cultural management and professional development consulting · Uruguay
I developed an advisory process with Uruguayan artist Daniel Ketchedjian focused on cultural management, organisation and professional development.
The work applied tools from project production and management to concrete decisions within an artistic career: planning, opportunity analysis, process organisation and the creation of conditions that could sustain and extend the creative practice over time.

Mentoring · Montevideo, Uruguay
I took part as a mentor in Cultiva Tango, a laboratory created by Montevideo's Department of Culture.
The mentoring focused on project development and support through the formulation process, offering an outside perspective to review ideas, identify problems, organise decisions and strengthen the relationship between the artistic proposal, its aims and its real possibilities for implementation.
Creation, management and professional development.

Sustained collaboration

For more than a decade I have accompanied different creative processes by Jean Paul Olhaberry, through a working relationship spanning live shows, television, public interventions, publishing projects and experiences conceived for mass audiences.
The collaboration has focused mainly on reviewing and discussing projects, narrative construction, developing illusionism effects, and finding ways to integrate magic with other stage and audiovisual languages.
This process has included projects such as El artista callejero, Trascender, the television programmes Ver para creer and Magiko—the latter also developed through co-creation—as well as Mapa Mágico de Chile and appearances at Kidzapalooza / Lollapalooza in 2018 and 2022.
The collaboration has also extended into other formats. For El mago del fin del mundo: Iniciación I worked as artistic consultant on the publishing project, while Invisible, an intervention developed for Summit Futuro Sostenible 2026, once again brought the work to the intersection of concept, narrative, staging and illusionism.
This journey reflects a sustained creative dialogue in which every project has posed different problems and required a specific way of turning an idea into an experience.

Processes with artists

I have worked alongside artists in illusionism and the performing arts through processes of creation, management and professional development, offering an outside perspective on their projects and careers.
The work has included reviewing proposals, analysing opportunities, organising processes and holding conversations aimed at making concrete decisions according to the needs of each case.
Artists I have worked with include Mauricio Dobringer, Tomás Godoy and Sergio Aldunate, as well as other creators connected with illusionism and the performing arts.

Career
Atacama, Chile
Based in the Atacama Desert, I develop a practice that brings together illusionism, stage creation, perception, narrative and territory. I create works, festivals, interventions and cultural processes that connect art, place and social innovation. I explore wonder as an artistic experience, a form of knowledge and a tool for transformation, and understand decentralisation as a concrete practice for cultural development. I am interested in fragility, time and human experience as spaces of encounter between people and communities.
