About the project
Pequeños misterios is a research and creation project begun by Luis Albornoz in 2026 to deepen his study of magic theory and the dramatic construction of wonder. The project includes an international residency, currently in development, with Argentine illusionists and theorists Roberto Mansilla and Hernán Maccagno. These collaborations seek to strengthen tools for analysis, composition and structure that can inform future processes of stage creation.

Magic theory and the dramaturgy of wonder
The project was awarded funding by the Regional Government of Atacama and submitted by Corporación Más Ciencia Más Sueños.
Pequeños misterios is part of Albornoz's authorial line of research into close-up magic, dramaturgy and the contemporary possibilities of illusionism.
