About the project

Maleta de payaso was a project combining juggling, clowning and painting workshops with artist Mirtha Colman. It brought artistic experiences to school communities far from established cultural circuits. Luis Albornoz took part in creating and delivering the circus component through exercises in play, skill and stage expression.

Delivered in 2002 with Fondart funding, the project is an early precedent for Luis Albornoz's later work in cultural access, artistic mediation and territory.
