About the project

Imaginno was an educational project by Fundación Atacamagica that connected illusionism, imagination and reflection on the use of technology in learning. It combined work with students and teachers, using principles of magic to encourage observation, curiosity and creative thinking. Its contribution was to translate illusionism into an educational device without reducing it to entertainment.

Magic as an educational tool

Funded by Fondart in 2015 and 2016, the project was delivered in schools across the Atacama Region. Luis Albornoz took part in its creation and facilitation, connecting artistic experience and learning through activities that invited participants to observe, form hypotheses, test solutions and share them with others.
