About the project

Arte, circo y solidaridad was an independent project combining circus and illusionism acts, a documentary, an educational talk and a student forum. Luis Albornoz took part in its creation and artistic delivery, bringing touring performances to children, young people and families.

Context

Touring circus in Atacama communities

Presented in 2003 at the Centro Cultural de Vallenar and in informal settlements in Copiapó and Tierra Amarilla, it was an early experience connecting circus practice, cultural access and territory beyond the usual theatrical circuits.
